travel to Virginia park lodge
Virginia Park Lodge is an easy one-hour drive from Dublin Airport. If you prefer not to rent a car, it’s also very accessible by bus. The town of Virginia is the first stop on the Expressway 30 (Red Line) departing directly from the airport - view the route here.
passports & visas
It’s always worth double-checking that your passport is valid and not expired. At this time, U.S. travelers do not need a visa to enter Ireland. However, the UK is currently requiring a visa- if you are flying into Belfast or London, make sure to fill one out here.
Currency
If you travel into Northern Ireland, the currency changes from Euro (€) to British Pound (£). Euros are sometimes accepted, but typically not at full value.
Tipping is not customary or expected in Ireland, but it is always appreciated.
